Kissa was that one of a kind, special girl that proved an amateur handler, with a quality dog , could win against all odds over well-established, as well as up and coming, handlers of ” popular” bloodlines. She finished her championship in the spring of 1983 at WRGC Specialty with a 5 pt major (over 72 bitches) and BOS over Specials. It was definitely her day!! She went on, in a very limited specials career, to win further BOS’s and BOB’s and acquired two Grp II placements, and was tied for top 100. She was admired for her quality and movement, even at the tender age of 15 1/2 yrs, at the GRCA National Specialty held in St. Louis (1997), 8 weeks before the Rainbow Bridge called her home.
