Golden Memories

“This photo is being shared with me by Kara’s mother, Barb. Kara is sitting with a puppy from the last litter she bred prior to her passing between Sage and Gabe.  Kara Garbe lived in WA. She passed away on April 24, 2013 of complications from Lupus.  Kara bred her beloved Sage to Gabe twice. I am so happy that we did get her second breeding as this brought Kara great joy this past winter.  Even though we never met, I counted Kara as a friend. She was a very special woman and lover of this breed.  She would have made a great breeder to carry on for this breed. I am sure she is now surrounded by Goldens galore, as she was when she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.”
